EliteVisitors Redirecting to BestWriters

When online writers were looking for sites like Bubblews to replace their online earnings with a similar site, many turned to Elite Visitors. Like Bubblews it promised people they’d be paid for their online activity – by writing articles and all the other paraphernalia this new breed of sites seems to need – and many were singing its praises.

But Elite Visitors turned out to be a scam when one of the owners left and took all the money with them. Just this morning Elite Visitors announced on their Facebook page that the Admin had run off with all all the money. So, now Elite Visitors is redirecting to Bestwriters which is another writing site and the company are advising people that they will try to move their existing posts over – which isn’t much help for all the effort put into linking to the EV site on social media posts and pages. I’ll not be joining that one either. Luckily for those who had joined EliteVisitors, it was only running for three months before they closed down.

Be careful where you spend your time. When you write for online writing sites you invest heavily in the early months with your time and effort – hoping that it’ll pay off in the end, that there’ll be passive income, a level of residual income that you can build your full-time income from. My advice, as always, is to be careful who you choose. Yes, you should take a certain amount of risk, but you’re placing your trust with these sites and using your time. If it’s snatched from you one night, without warning, you could end up with a big fat zero.

The best way to make money online from writing is – as it has always been – to create your own website and write on that. YOU make the rules, YOU make the choices. Yes it’s a bit slow when you start as you’ve got to work out what to do and to write, but you’ll quickly see that return on the investment of your time if you write your posts on your own site and not somebody else’s.

To date, the best online writing site, for me, has been Hubpages – who are honest and pay out every month for me – and always have done. I usually receive over $100/month for posts I wrote there 6-7 years ago! True passive income, real residual income.
