Freelance Court Researcher Jobs

One legitimate work at home employment is in the area of freelance court researcher jobs. Typically, a court researcher will be trained by companies to go to public courts and similar public buildings, to obtain information that is in the public domain. The information that court researcher jobs are asking you to collect is typically information on judgements, or marriages, and other public events to which the information is freely available.Court Researcher Jobs

US Only:

I haven’t seen this type of work, in this form, advertised in the UK – freelance court researcher jobs do seem to be a US-based phenomenon.

Other companies will hire court researchers to perform specific parts of background checks and criminal record checks – perhaps for employment purposes or court cases.

The companies who want court researchers will have a constant set of new clients coming on board. They will each have a different set of requirements and openings – so it’s not until you apply that you will find out if it’s a job that’s open to you in your local neighbourhood.

Rate of Pay: Court Researcher roles typically might pay $10-20/hour. You’re paid on a “per result” basis, so one you get more familiar with the routine, the documents and the work, you’ll find yourself working faster just from familiarity – and it’s at this point that you see your income rising without doing any more work, you’ll just be working more efficiently and faster.

Hours: The hours you are able to work will be restricted to the hours that any of the public offices are open, so the hours are sociable.
