6 Companies Who Hire Website Testers

Paid website testing jobs provide great job satisfaction! Here are 6 companies you need to know about who hire website testers at various times throughout the year.  At peak times of the year Website tester jobs offer a great way to work at home – and now is one of those peak times. They are one of the best paying ways to earn an occasional little extra, not something you can sit and do full-time. I’ve written before about these, but, if you simply want an overview list of website tester jobs, then all you need to know is the following:

Paid Website Testing Jobs: Website Usability Testing Companies

  1. Usertesting.com – A great support team, keen to build long term relationships with website testers. A popular site, so website tester jobs can be snapped up from the list. Pay is through PayPal at $10 per test.
  2. Whatusersdo – Pays $8 per website test. London-based, with a user friendly interface. You are paid through Paypal on the 25th of the month following the date of testing.
  3. Userfeel – Sometimes User Feel aren’t accepting new website testers, so it can be down to luck if you go to their website when they are hiring. User Feel pay $10 per test.
  4. Trymyui – Pays via Paypal for website testing jobs. Pay is $10/test, taking about 15 minutes each.
  5. Userlytics – You will need a webcam and microphone connected to join this testing site as you record a video/audio of what you are doing as you take the test. Pay is $10 per test, you are paid through Paypal.
  6. UserZoom – Previously known as Youeye, who merged with UserZoom.  Originally a 2013 startup company, you will need a webcam and microphone to do the website testing jobs. Pay is $10 per website test. You will need to download the Userzoom Screen Recorder, which is the software that saves and uploads your testing session easily for you. Earn an average of $10 for each test, taking 10-20 minutes each.

Other companies include: Enroll, StartUplift, Intellizoom, Validately and Testingtime – new companies are appearing as it’s increasingly a core part of website builds and web designers are now offering the website checking service their clients as part of a new website design and test phase.

Personally, I don’t do this type of work from home as my PC is too unreliable – as is my power supply when there’s a storm on – and my broadband isn’t the fastest, but as soon as my local broadband improves I’ll be trying this for myself!
