The Work at Home Customer Service Roles
As a customer service agent, the job will involve:
- Taking telephone orders – and accurately obtaining and verifying customer information
- Entering order details into database.
- Maintaining the call center database.
- Fulfill requests for information, clarifying information callers are needing.
- Completing transactions.
- Forwarding requests for information which is outside the scope of the role to the relevant department.
- Selling additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts
- Explaining new features
Person Specification
You will need to have:
- 2 years of customer service within a call center environment preferred but not required
- A good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
- Home DSL Internet connection, personal computer and fax required.
