Work at Home for Charity

You can work at home for charity companies – with an increasing number of these organisations making homeworking possible and an increasing number of work at home jobs for charities appearing!  Combining social enterprise with an income makes for a very satisfying worklife too!

Charity jobs will often require you to within 50-100 miles of the head office, although each organisation has different requirements.  Some of them will wish you to visit the office occasionally, which is why there is a requirement for you to live locally – as well as understanding the local issues.

Some roles will be mostly home based – and others will be using your home office as your working base, with travel in the local area.

Charities who do advertise work at home jobs include the RNLI, British Red Cross, Scope, Young Enterprise, Shared Lives Plus, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Teenage Cancer Trust, Joshua Orphan & Community Care, Barnardo’s, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.  All these are well-known UK charities with work at home jobs on a regular basis.
